"East is East and West is West"

Outside entrance C2 in the courtyard of Alviksskolan stands a large sculpture in granite, called East is East and West is West, sculpted by Robert Nilsson and erected in 1945. The sculpture is four-sided and depicts four people. These are a Chinese, an Eskimo, a Mexican, and an African. There are many details from each individual's environment surrounding each character.
